  • Purchase passes to use immediately or store them for future rides (note: an internet connection is required to purchase and activate a mobile pass)
  • As the bus approaches open your app and tap your pass to activate
  • Once onboard follow instructions in the app to validate your ticket

Fare Descriptions

Name Description
One Way

Valid for a single ride. Ticket will display for 15 minutes.
Care-A-Van One Way

Care-A-Van service requires an application and physician’s statement to verify eligibility in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
24 Hour Unlimited Ride

The 24 Hour Pass is valid for 24 hours of unlimited rides upon activation on any CARTA bus.
7 Day Unlimited Ride

The 7 Day Pass is valid for unlimited rides on any CARTA route for 7 consecutive days after activation.
31 Day Unlimited Ride

The 31 Day Pass is valid for unlimited rides on any CARTA route for 31 consecutive days after activation.
