Service Descriptions

Name Description
Local

Local System fares are valid on the A-train, DCTA Connect Bus, North Texas Xpress, University of North Texas (UNT) Campus Shuttles and GoZone On-Demand service. These fares are not valid for paratransit trips.

Regional

Regional System fares are valid on the A-train, DCTA Connect Bus, North Texas Xpress, University of North Texas (UNT) Campus Shuttles and GoZone On-Demand service. Regional System fare is required for trips taken outside of the DCTA service area. Regional System Passes also offer access to fixed-route bus and rail services operated by DCTA, DART, the TRE and Trinity Metro. These fares are not valid for paratransit trips.

Access

Access Demand-Response fares are valid on Access service only. Paratransit Certified passengers using Connect, Local System or Regional System can ride free on DCTA or DART with their valid paratransit photo ID, but passengers will need to purchase a reduced pass to ride Trinity Metro.

GoZone

GoZone is an on-demand rideshare service, powered by Via, that riders utilize for trips within, and sometimes between, designated zones in Denton County. The on-demand service uses a mobile app where passengers book their trips in real-time. A fleet of dedicated vans is used to pick up and drop off riders at virtual stops within the zones.

Frisco Demand Response

Frisco Demand-Response fares are divided into two categories: Local and Regional trips. Local trips are for travel within Frisco. Regional trips are for travel outside of Frisco.

The Local AM Pass will be valid from start of service to 11:59 a.m., and the Local PM Pass will be valid from 12:00 p.m. to end of service.

Valid for a single ride. Ticket will display for 30 minutes.

Day

Day passes are valid until midnight.

10 Ride
Day - 10 Pack

Pack of 10 day passes, each valid for 1 Day after first use.

7 Day

Seven day passes are valid for 7 consecutive days.

Month

Month passes are valid for 31 consecutive days after first use and expire at midnight on the 31st day.

Annual

Annual passes are valid for 365 consecutive days after first use and expire at midnight on the 365th day.
